New hot/cold therapy pads included. For cold therapy, simply place the therapy pad in the freezer for 20-30 minutes, remove and insert into the inner built-in pocket and wear the garment for as long as desired. For hot therapy, place the pad in a bowl of water and place the bowl in the microwave oven for 30 seconds. The pad can also provide additional support in the area and may be worn simply as a support pad. You have the option of using the left side by itself or the right side or both.

When a hernia occurs, the contents of the hernia create compression that leads to a feeling of heaviness, pressure, and pain. Instructions for hot therapy

Place the gel pack in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour.
Place the gel pack into your garment and wear as intended.
After use, wipe the gel pack with a damp cloth and mild soap and wipe dry and store for future use.

Instructions for cold therapy

Boiling instructions:

Bring a pan of water to a boil and then move it away from the heat source.
Place the gel pack in the pan of hot water for 8 to10 minutes.
Remove the gel pack from the pan and place it into your garment and wear as intended.
After use, wipe the gel pack with a damp cloth and mild soap and wipe dry and store for future use.

Microwavable instructions:

Place the gel pack in a bowl of water and place the bowl in the microwave oven and heat at full power
for 30 seconds. Repeat as necessary in 30 second increments until desired temperature is reached.

HOW TO WEAR

Unfasten left and right elastic hook tabs in front of the garment. Step into the garment like a regular brief with legs through front of the leg elastic straps and pull up placing pads over affected area.

Adjust hook and eye closure at the back of elastic waist to shorten or lengthen leg elastic straps. Pull both front elastic straps and fasten hook tabs to loops. Adjust tightness of the straps depending on how much compression is required.

Pull crotch piece and fasten snaps.

HOW TO CARE

Wash in cold water, gentle cycle, tumble dry low or flat dry. No bleach, no iron.

MEASURE YOUR WAIST

Take a snug measurement around your waist line right above the hip bone.
